Weekend Review
The 2025/26 season has started with a bang for MyRacehorse!
ninja @ kembla grange - 1st by 11.3 lengths!
You simply won’t see more impressive victories than this. In a field that was decimated by scratchings, Andrew Adkins provided a ‘sit and steer job’ on Ninja. This win told us that he certainly handles wet ground and that he is a very exciting horse for the future. He won this race eased down to the line, so in reality, he probably could’ve won by further. A great win to start the season.
charcoals @ sandown - 1st by 1.25 lengths!
How consistent is this son of Too Darn Hot?! Charcoals notched up his 5th career win on Sunday at Sandown, making it 3 wins from his last 4 starts. This was a perfect ride by Mark Zahra as he was able to get him into the 1:1 position and then peel out and show a nice turn of foot to win by over a length. He’s a very professional-looking horse, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for him.
bold strike @ sandown - 5th
Bold Strike ran okay on Sunday at Sandown. We were probably expecting him to let down a bit better over the mile; however, he was tightened for room at a key stage, which probably halted his momentum. He was only beaten by 2 lengths, so he was certainly competitive at that level. Hoping that he can get a race where there is a bit more speed next start.
