just bought the filly four Hope to add 1 or two more horses in the Kentucky circuit This sounds like a cheap way to get involved and have a lot of fun cheering on our horses

MyRacehorse All four of your fillies are doing great in training right now and if all goes well should see 1, 2, 3, or even all 4 with a start this summer. Hopefully at a track that does indeed allow fans.

Made my 1st dive into MRH with purchasing shares in The Filly Four. Owned 2 racing greyhounds a few years back but this is my 1st run at horse ownership... even if it is micro shares. Look forward to watching the 4 ladies grow up and hopefully make some success on the track. Hopefully with work coming back the fans can get back to the track in time so I can possibly visit one of these fine fillies.

MyRacehorse Your filly four are off to a good start, all 4 are at the track and each has several works already, could be a very fun summer for these ladies. Hopefully Moonlight D'oro continues her solid workout pattern for Mandella and she could be starting at your favorite track Del Mar this Summer. Now we just need them to allow fans back (when safe of course!)

One of my sisters and I used to go to the horse races in Nebraska. She is gone now. I came across this site and fell in love. These animals are so beautiful and to see them run is a blessing. I have Filly Four, Solar Strike and Lane Way at this time. It was exciting to watch Lane Way race and know I owned a little bit of him. I don't expect to get rich. I expect to enjoy and maybe get some money back from what I spent. I would like to be able to be at the track when one of "my" horses ran but probably won't get to due to circumstances. Thank you MRH for this opportunity.

MyRacehorse We could not agree more, such majestic and beautiful animals. With 6 horses in your stable, hopefully one will run at a track you can make a trip out too (when the restrictions are lifted). In the meantime we will try to provide as much video and pictures as possible to help you enjoy the experience.

I'm really excited to join the MRH family. I bought in last week and can't wait to watch "Deep Cover" run this summer. Now I need to build up my stable with a few more horses. My advice is to buy the shares as soon as you can because they do go fast. I missed out on "Big Mel" but I won't miss out again. Good Luck to all.

MyRacehorse Deep Cover has been doing quite well at Win Star, definitely hoping to get him up to the SPA for the summer season. As far as not missing out, we recommend taking advantage of the Indicate Interest feature to be given first access to the new offering. Thrilled to have you on board, thank you!

In a momentary "oh what the heck" purchase, I just bought a single share of Mo Mischief. Just for fun. Three hours later, I found myself finally stepping away from doing research on the horse's blood lines and realized, wow, that was fun. I can't wait for the updates to start rolling in and seeing how much more fun I might have this summer ... especially if Mo comes up to Saratoga and I can see him run in person. I'm not here to get rich, and I'm still treading cautiously before I purchase a share in another horse (or four ... the Four fillies are tempting) but one day in I'm looking forward to watching this horse grow.

MyRacehorse Mo Mischief is indeed beautifully bred and has now settled in nicely with Todd Pletcher in Saratoga. When we are given the green light and can bring fans to the backside would love to have you out to meet Mo Mischief in person.

Iv been keeping my eye on MyRacehorse and what they have been providing for the past few years but never had the funds to participate. Recently hit a mandatory pick 5 and couldn’t think of a better way to use it. Got shares of the filly’s and MO Mischief and couldn’t be more excited to watch from a distance and hopefully be able to see a few race in KY someday besides Cox’s filly. I’m so happy to be apart of MyRacehorse and very thankful to them for providing an opportunity to lovers of the sport with out as much risk or capital.. thank you once again can’t wait to see y’all at the track!

MyRacehorse Boom! Mandatory Pick 5 and roll that into a stable of 5 really nice 2 year old horse... That sounds like a a perfect day to us. Thrilled you have joined and we too cant wait until the restrictions are removed and we are back trackside, look forward to meeting you soon.

Been waiting for an opportunity like this for 20 years!

No grand illusions - see it as buying 4 $45 lottery tickets and maybe I'll get lucky. However, this will be 1000X more exciting than playing the lottery - especially for an avid horseracing fan like myself. Have to say the pedigree's are there in all 4 fillies. Very excited to hopefully see all 4 make it to the races. As for Lost Code, if you're unfamiliar and have 15-20 minutes to spare check out the old video on Youtube of him. Never mentioned with the greats of his era though he should be. His Gulfstream Park romp still gives me goosebumps and I'd take him at a mile vs. anybody.

MyRacehorse Good things come to those that wait. Hopefully that proves true for you after waiting 20 years to get involved in ownership and we could not be more thrilled that MyRacehorse is how you decided to get involved. Having your first 4 trainers be Bob Baffert, Richard Mandella, Brad Cox and Todd Pletcher is not too shabby at all. Thanks for the introduction to Lost Code, he had brilliant speed, had fun watching his replays on You Tube!

Hello everyone. Shane here from the UK. I have just purchased a share in the promising colt MO MISCHIEF, he looks to be a colt of some potential. I am really looking forward to joining my fellow owners in cheering him on when he runs. I work for the Racing Post newspaper here in London in the UK and I love my American racing. I really wanted to get involved with ownership in the United States Of America and here I am. I am not sure if I am the first owner to get involved from the UK but it would be great to know if I am? Really looking forward to MO MISCHIEF and hello to my fellow owners in the States. Very excited for this journey with My Racehorse, what a fantastic idea. GO MO!

MyRacehorse Shane, not the first, a few people in the UK beat you to it (ironically one of our first ever investors was from the UK).. You should definitely check out the Mo Mischief FB group, it is a great chance to meet all the fellow owners and discuss the horse and his progress. Mo Mischief is definitely a looker, was quite the buzz horse at OBS and hopefully he runs as fast as he looks. Thanks for joining and enjoy the journey from across the pond.

The Love of Horses and Sport!

MyRacehorse is an excellent opportunity to become part of a racing family & team! So far I have invested in Lane Way, The Filly Four, Mo Mischief, and Big Mel. I will be adding many many more in the future. This whole experience has been amazing. Growing up on a farm in a small country town my love of horses has been for a lifetime. Even though I'm a micro share owner My Race Horse makes you feel like it is much more than that. I highly recommend investing not for financial returns but simply for the thrill and love of the sport. Being part of an investment group in a sport I can honestly say is tremendous and watching your horse develop is very rewarding. My youngest daughter loves cheering on Lane Way and what a great way to spend family time.

MyRacehorse Not a bad stable you have built and Lane Way ran his heart out on Friday. I am sure your daughter enjoyed that one.. we just missed second. Mandella thinks he might take the next step on the Turf, will be very interesting to see how he takes to it. Thanks again for the kind review, so happy to hear you and the family are enjoying the ownership experience.

Francesco Palmisano from MA

Is your investment in MRH worth it?

Lets do a break down on Lane Way. Auction price was $550,000. Microshare investors shell out $540,000. So they almost pay off the entire investment. MyRacehorse takes 10%, Spendthrift farms takes 30%. So, MRH and Spendthrift move the investment risk on to microshare holders and off of themselves. When the horse wins the break down is this. Lane Way wins $6000 Microshare holders walk away with $0.41 a share. Microshare holders lose money. The only onesto recoup funds here when a horse wins is MRH, Spendthrift, trainers, and the jockey. It's a nice concept, but it leaves the true investors (microshare holders) undervalued. Now I have been involved in horseracing a long time. My first Kentucky derby was 1977 When I saw Seattle Slew win. I was once a hotwalker, and a fan for over 42 years. I have seen many things change over the years and many loses. This concept has potential but in its current form it is a loser.

MyRacehorse Francesco, I think there might be a bit of confusion on the offering financials. MRH purchased 60% of Lane Way from Spendthrift at cost (there was NO mark-up). Spendthrift now pays there 40% of the expenses directly and MRH shareholders pay them nothing. The offering then included pre paid training, care and administrative cost, mortality insurance, sales tax, and an offering fee of 15%. As always you review all of the financial details and our prospectus here https://myracehorse.com/app/#/singleHorseView/419 - As far as race payouts our process is to fill the reserve account for future expenses, pay the race expenses that include 10% trainer, jockey, management fee and then redistribute any remaining cash to the shareholders. As you stated Lane Way only earned $6,000 for the third place finish, hence there was only $2,448 of excess cash after paying the previous months training bill and the race expenses. Please feel free to email us at support@myracehorse.com and we would be happy to walk you through the details and answer any questions you may have. P.S - Must of been electric to be at the KY Derby for Seattle Slew!!

I have also wanted to be involved in racehorses and about 3-4 years ago I purchased a small piece of one. Since then we purchased 3 other horses but one was special to me, and in fact he won a small stakes race last September. I was totally hooked, just the excitement of seeing my own horse in the last furlong, the feeling was hard to explain. I was more impressed by the excitement of the win, the cash winnings was very secondary. Last July, I read something about MyRacehorse.com. I talked to Joe Moran and I was so impressed by his honest and fast responses. His response convinced me and then I dabbled a bit in some of the horses and when you consider the potential quality of these horses, their breeding and of course the quality training, how can you possibly resist it. Coupled with that is the frequency of the videos and the updates, they are easily worth the investment. We know that the last few months has gone crazy with the virus, but once we have beaten it, I expect that we will see some amazing races this year

MyRacehorse Congratulations on the stakes win! And YES we agree, looks like the back half of 2020 is set up for some big time racing from the stable. Fingers crossed!

Great Fun!

After recently retiring to the Midwest, I began to contemplate the possibility of thoroughbred ownership. There are many partnership options out there, but only MyRacehorse. But gave us the option of limiting future liability. Even if you pick a stellar prospect, the expenses associated with the proper care and training of the horse have the potential to overwhelm any owner—As my husband vigorously reminded me on more than one occasion. But fortunately for my aspirations, MyRacehorse.com has bundled all the foreseeable costs up front, including insurance and normal vet costs. Then, the total is divided among the many members of the group and paid up front. I’m not certain who came up with this idea, but it’s fantastic!! I look forward to the weekly updates I’ve received in my Inbox without fail from day One. Who would ever have thought that race fans like me could own a gorgeous 3 year old colt in training with the legendary Bob Baffert? But with two bullet drills to his credit, Big Mel is stepping into the main barn at Santa Anita just in time to follow in the steps of Nadal, probably one of Baffert’s best Derby hopes for 2020. {what the heck, who says you can’t dream of the now September 5 Derby at least for a Coronavirus week or two?} Just the idea of owning a colt stabled in Baffert’s barn during his 3 year old season is overwhelming because you know that colt will have the best care and training possible in the sport. The only thing even better was to receive an email updating prospective owners on the progress of Lane Way, another well-developed 3 year old colt in training with the great Richard Mandella at Santa Anita. What a fabulous opportunity -Again!- to own a piece of the dream! Thank you to everyone at MyRacehorse, for giving racing fans like me the opportunity to be associated with the pinnacle of the sport we love so well, Stay well, please, and keep up the great work, Lauren Matthias. MyRacehorse Lauren, what a wonderful review thank you! We will be sure to pass the kind words to our founder Michael Behrens (the brainchild of this idea). We all love this sport so much and want everyone to experience the thrills of ownership regardless of budget.
