Gate Entrance and Parking

There are different Gate entrances to park at Santa Anita. When attending a MyRacehorse event your “Know Before You Go” email will indicate if there is a specific gate to enter.

GATE 3

Gate 3 is the patron entrance off of Huntington Dr. It’s the best entrance for East & Clubhouse Admission Gates. General, Valet, and Handicapped parking available.

GATE 5

Gate 5 is the patron entrance off of Huntington Dr. It’s the best entrance for East & Clubhouse Admission Gates. General, Valet, and Handicapped parking available.

TRAVELING WEST ON THE 210 FREEWAY

From the 210 West, exit Santa Anita Ave. Make a left on Santa Anita Ave. Go south on Santa Anita Ave. and turn right on Huntington Dr. Follow Huntington Dr. to Gate #5 (look for the large signboard.)

TRAVELING EAST ON THE 210 FREEWAY

From the 210 East, exit Santa Anita Ave. Make a right on Santa Anita Ave. Go south on Santa Anita Ave. and turn right on Huntington Dr. Follow Huntington Dr. to Gate #5 (look for the large signboard.)

GATE 6

Gate 6 is the patron entrance off of Colorado Pl. It’s the best entrance to the Infield Admission Gate. General and Handicapped parking available.

TRAVELING ON THE 210 FREEWAY

From the 210 Freeway, exit Santa Anita Ave. Head south on Santa Anita Ave. Turn right on Huntington Dr. Veer right on Colorado Place. Turn left into Gate 6.

GATE 8

Gate 8 is the patron entrance off of Baldwin Ave. It’s the best entrance for South Admission Gate, Horsemen Entrance, and Executive Offices. General and Handicapped parking available.

TRAVELING WEST ON THE 210 FREEWAY

From the 210 West, exit Baldwin Ave. Turn right on Foothill Blvd., then right on Baldwin Ave. Go south on Baldwin Ave. until you see the entrance to Gate #8 (look for a signboard). Turn left into Gate #8. Stay left at the fork to enter Santa Anita Park.

 

TRAVELING EAST ON THE 210 FREEWAY

From the 210 East, exit Baldwin Ave. Make a right on Baldwin Ave. Go south on Baldwin Ave. until you see the entrance to Gate #8 (look for large signboard). Turn left into Gate #8. Stay left at the fork to enter Santa. Anita Park.

What are the Santa Anita Fall dates?

The fall meet runs from Friday, September 29, 2023 thru Sunday, November 5, 2023.

 

Is a program included in my ticket?

The event description will indicate what is included in your ticket. 

Programs for most events are distributed upon entering the track by a Santa Anita representative.

 

General Track Information

BE RESPECTFUL OF HORSES

The Thoroughbred’s and patron’s safety is very important to us. Please do not make unnecessary noise or sudden movements when you are around the horses.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Absolutely no alcoholic beverages, glass containers, balls, balloons, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, frisbees, flags, kites, tables, canopies, coolers, backpacks, chairs or easy-up tents are allowed in the park. No animals other than licensed service animals.

 

DRESS ETIQUETTE

Although there isn’t a specific dress code, patrons are expected to dress appropriately in the Club House Areas. This includes Silks, Suites at Santa Anita, the Chandelier Room, and the Eddie Logan Suite. Please check for dress requirements for different events before attending an event in these areas.

 

ALLOWED IN THE INFIELD & APRON

Coolers, containers, bags, and folding chairs. All items are subject to inspection by Santa Anita Park security prior to entry. These items are only allowed in the Infield & the Apron.

What time does the racetrack open?

Track times vary, however, a “Know Before You Go” email will include the time the Gates Open/Post Time and the event start time.

Do I need to buy an event ticket to be eligible for the paddock, winner's circle or any other events?

Simply check the Events page to see if there is a lottery listed and register. (You only need to register 1 time for each event). https://myracehorse.com/app/events

 

How are tickets distributed?

You will receive a “Know Before You Go” email one week prior to the event. Don’t worry, we will have you covered by communicating everything you need to do to receive your ticket, parking, etc. (please also check your spam folder).

Tickets will be sent via email from Ticketmaster one day prior to the event at the latest. Please note that the KBYG and tickets will be send to the purchaser of the tickets.

 

What is the dress code at Santa Anita?

Business casual (unless stated otherwise in the “Know Before You Go” email communication.

Where do I get my program?

Upon entrance to the track, the Santa Anita representative will give you your program (if you are not handed one, please ask for it).

Will there be food and drinks available at the event?

If food and beverages are provided at the event, it will be notated in the event with additional details included in the Know Before You Go email.

Santa Anita also has concessions and a QR Code/phone tab for ordering as well.

Is smoking allowed at MyRacehorse events?

Santa Anita does not allow smoking in their venues. Therefore there is no smoking/vaping allowed.
