Price Kent Day Out!
Price Kent Racing land a G1 and G2 with a day out at Morphettville!
There was no hotter stable on the weekend then MyRacehorse trainers, Price Kent Racing. They landed the Group 1 $1M Sangster with Charm Stone, and only moments earlier, claimed the G2 Tobin Bronze Stakes with Reserve Bank. Reserve Bank, who was bred on the same cross as Kung Fu Kid (Capitalist x Fastnet Rock mare), continues to emulate plenty of similarities to Kung Fu Kid. He debuted as a June 2YO, was G2 placed as a Spring 3YO and now has won the Redelva Stakes and G2 Tobin Bronze as an Autumn 3YO. There appears to be plenty of upside for this 3YO who will now chance his arm at the G1 Goodwood in a fortnights time.
- It’s fitting timing to have launched a sexy TARZINO x LEGRAMOR colt with the stable on fire, Price Kent Racing. With only a handful of Early Bird shares remaining, if you’re the sort of person who likes to judge a book by his cover – then all you have to do is look at this guys photos and you won’t be able to refuse!
Ole Kirk continues to dominate the 2YO ranks with ANOTHER stakes winner
- LEGACY BOUND, dominated the BREEDER’S STAKES at Morphettville winning the juvenile G3 feature by nearly 3 lengths. Mark Zahra gave a glowing report after the race making shrewd comparisons to Growing Empire (who he won the race on last year). Legacy Bound was bred by and now owned and raced by Vinery Stud. He has now strung 2 from 2, by an average margin of 3.3L, and looks set for an exciting Spring 3YO campaign. What Ole Kirk continues to do at stud is simply unbelievable, his stallion fees have naturally just doubled, and we couldn’t have been more excited to purchase King Kirk’s full brother – Prince Kirk, before the stallion really set the world alight. It continues to be a highly valuable purchase – and he is loving life at Vinery Stud as he continues to furnish into a lovely colt.
Contributer sires another stakes winner
- TENZING, took out the Brisbane Mile in flying form on Saturday for Tony Gollan ridden by Regan Bayliss. This was Tenzing’s first stakes win who really appreciated the Soft conditions. Another great result for the stallion of our Contributer x Sharp Proposition yearling colt, who is currently being broken in by Shaun & Emma Clotworthy – the training duo who achieved the ultimate G1 success with Willydoit.
Medieval Warrior: Form franked in the ANZAC Day Stakes
- Highly talented MyRacehorse 2YO, Medieval Warrior, has had the form of his below market expectations performance franked in the Listed ANZAC Day Stakes at Flemington. The quinella of his debut (Stay Cosmic and Warrior Smile) finished 2nd and 4th with the former only 0.2L off first place in a dashing display.
