Eye Of The Storm

When Eye Of The Storm walked out of his box at the Inglis Classic Sale, he commanded attention. Strong, masculine and with a purposeful walk that filled the eye immediately. This colt by Tarzino out of Legramor, is a half to Eskimo Prince Stakes winner, Public Attention and has a page filled with black-type.

A Balanced pedigree

Being by Tarzino and out of Legramor, this colts pedigree blends classic stamina with proven speed. As mentioned, he is the half-brother to Group 3 winner, Public Attention, who was recently sold to Hong Kong to continue his racing career. While Public Attention is a sharp sprinter by written Tycoon, our colt profiles as a guineas or derby horse with elite stamina being injected into his bloodline by his sire.

Eye Of The Storm will get better as he matures into his large frame, likely reaching the races as a two-year-old before really hitting his straps as a three-year-old and pushing towards a classics campaign.

an exceptional type with looks to match

Since joining the stable, Eye Of The Storm has impressed at every stage of his development. He breezed through his early breaking-in preparation, then returned to training, where he has shown all the right signs.

Importantly, his speed gene test confirmed he profiles as a miler type, giving us confidence he has the versatility to begin over 1400m or a mile as a late two-year-old before stretching further as a classic three-year-old.

He has a cool temperament, handling the hustle and bustle of Cranbourne’s busy training complex with ease. His action looks correct and trackwork riders commend how well he uses himself through his early gallops.

Ticks all the boxes

Eye Of The Storm is the kind of horse you buy when you want to enjoy the thrill of racing not just as a two-year-old, but deep into his three- and four-year-old seasons. He has the pedigree, presence, and profile of a colt that can develop into a genuine Guineas or Derby contender, and every sign so far is pointing in the right direction.

For owners looking through the MyRacehorse roster, he is the one that offers that rare blend: value at the sale, a proven family, the right cross, and the patient guidance of Price & Kent Jnr. In short, he’s a colt with purpose, and all the upside in the world.
