Your payout is cents on a dollar, they ALWAYS change the name of horses to something stupid and DO NOT INVEST!!! IT A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. YOU CANNOT SELL SHARES ONCE YOU BUY,!!!

MyRacehorse Hi there- our model requires a one-time out of pocket payment by investors, while we cannot entirely eliminate the risk of racehorse ownership, the best thing about investing with MRH is you won’t ever lose more than your initial investment. As for the naming of our horses, we typically don’t change the name of our horses once they have already been named. Generally, most of our horses are not named at the time they are offered. When you see a name that has a number following it, this is an indication that the horse has not yet been officially named. MyRacehorse allows owners to participate in the fun by hosting naming contests for our unnamed horses. As for selling shares, we hate to hear that you wish to sell your shares, but you have every right and ability to do so. When i made my mind up into getting into myracehorse, i though i knew exactly what it was about. I understood 90%. What I didnt understand is that it is geared as a fun ride with little chances of success. It seemed a no win in the long run story. Running a horse in a low level claiming race , if claimed is a total loss. I will just ride out into the horizon with the couple horses I have left .

I always get great customer service from MRH. They respond quickly and are very helpful. This time I made a mistake in my name submission in a naming contest for one of "my" horses. After contacting customer service they were able to help me correct it right away... I really appreciate Jen at customer service.

MyRacehorse Hi there, we’re disappointed to hear you feel this way, as we have seen some great successes. We have had winners in some of the biggest races including the Kentucky Derby, Breeder’s Cup, Preakness and several other Stakes. Recently, our 2 YO Manhattan Twist won on debut at Saratoga and is now targeting his first stakes race later this month, as well as a number of other up-and-coming youngsters showing great promise in their first time starts. We’re always striving for the best on-track success possible, however, there are always highs and lows in this sport that every owner in the business goes through.

Top jockeys, including Hall of Famers like Mike Smith and the industrie's top trainers, like Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen, are part of the company's extended family. The horses are not lower level as well, but rather come from the best known auction houses such as Fasig-Tipton. The mare I invested in cost $450,000 at auction. These are well bred animals from which the top horses originate. As an owner with MyRacehorse, And for a very affordable price, you can be part of this team. One word of caution: do not approach this venture as a money making investment. Not only is horse racing a very risky business, but you cannot expect a large return from a small investment.
