The Queen’s Plate is one of Canada’s premier sporting events and the first jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown. It’s also North America’s oldest continuously run stakes event, showcasing Canada’s top three-year-old thoroughbreds.

We will kick off the weekend on Saturday, August 20 with a backstretch tour at Woodbine, where you’ll have the opportunity to see Duke of Love and War Safe! The experience continues at Longrun, a thoroughbred aftercare farm which runs equine-assisted therapy and educational programs in partnership with Woodbine. Enjoy petting the horses and learning about a racehorse’s second career. 

On Sunday, watch the Queen’s Plate race from the Favorites communal dining room located on the finish line for a great view of the win! Sit with fellow MyRacehorse owners as well as other horse enthusiasts. Favorites offers food, beverage, private tellers, and bars. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the package.
