Willydoit
-
Willydoit runs across the ditch at Ellerslie in race 6, a BM75 over 1600 at 1:27pm AEDT. Willydoit, Ithinkhewill, is chasing a hat-trick of wins, and it looks like this may be the weakest race of his short career.
-
One problem that may arise is that he is jumping from barrier 1 and the rail is out 10m, but if the field is strung out enough by the leaders, it will allow Willydoit to have plenty of gaps to take and use his trademark turn of foot to storm down the outside. He is the best of the day, and $2.10 looks like a lovely price.
-
I recommend taking Willydoit with The Enchanter to form a $5.67 multi, you’re laughing! Make sure you have your Mane St Willydoit cap as he gears up towards the G1 New Zealand Derby!

Infatuation
- Infatuation will line up in the BM78 over 1350m, Race 7 at 4 pm at Rosehill tomorrow. Her last start was exceptional, finishing 4th of 16 in the F&M Magic Millions and 2.5 lengths ahead of the rest of the field. Once again, she will look to lead, and barrier 3 will allow her to do so. Hopefully, she can relax throughout the middle stages of the race and not over race as she tends to do.
- Bunkerhut is in good form and will look to be on speed jumping from gate 2. I also like the look of Starman, however I think he will find it difficult to find a good position from gate 13 and might get too far back. Infatuation looks like a lovely bet @$4, and you can take the $1.75 place with Exuma to form a lovely $2.88 multi to set up your Saturday night. Make sure you don the Infatuation Mane St Cap whilst you enjoy your Saturday night festivities.

Nana’s Wish
-
Nana’s Wish will take the field tomorrow at Sandown in a BM78 at 4:15 pm in Race 8. She has drawn barrier 11 of 11, with Jaylah Kennedy claiming 2kgs, which takes Nana’s Wish down to 52.5kgs. Given tomorrow will be 32 degrees and sunny, I think the track might prove to have a slight leader’s bias.
-
Dragoon will push forward from barrier 1, and we suspect that Revelare will join him at the front of the pack. Nana’s Wish will find it difficult to find a suitable position on the pace as the 1, 4 & 6 will all look to push forward, which may force her to enter the bend three wide without cover if Jaylah does decide to roll forward.
-
Considering the factors stated, Nana’s Wish does not look like a suitable bet, and we believe that Dragoon might lead and win paying $5.50.
