Katsumoto

23 October 2024

  • Katsumoto was an emerging star on the track, winning his first 2 starts and eyeing off stakes glory, before he suffered a serious injury in his third start. It was instantly clear that his racing days were over with a long road ahead before he would even be sound enough to relax in a paddock.
  •
  • For nine months, Katsumoto underwent rehabilitation at Torryburn Stud, where he received exceptional care from Melissa and the entire Torryburn team. Their expertise and dedication were crucial in his successful recovery, preparing him for the next chapter in his life.
  •
  • Today, Katsumoto lives happily with John and Donna, his new (and old) owners, having owned a share of Katsumoto during his racing days. He resides luxuriously on a farm alongside his new best mate, an older horse. John and Donna’s farm also includes an Airbnb, will provide opportunities for Kastumoto to enjoy plenty of attention and love from visitors.
  •
  • The Horse Super Fund played a vital role in Katsumoto’s journey from rehabilitation through to rehoming, providing ongoing financial support to his new owners and a lifetime safety net for his wellbeing. His successful transition highlights our unwavering commitment to the welfare of every MyRacehorse horse, ensuring they live fulfilling lives beyond the track.
