MyRacehorse Adds Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas to Trainer Roster
August 26, 2022 – MyRacehorse is proud to announce Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas as the newest addition to the MyRacehorse cast of trainers. A list that includes Hall of Famers, Todd Pletcher, Mark Casse, Bill Mott, Steve Asmussen, and more. Lukas has been announced to train the latest offering, Smart Shopping ‘21, a colt by the late, great Arrogate, sire of 2022 Kentucky Oaks winner, Secret Oath. The pairing of Lukas and Smart Shopping ‘21 is the perfect match and the stunning gray/roan colt will be located on the lucrative Kentucky/New York circuits for the legendary trainer.
A winner of 20 Breeders’ Cup World Championship races, five Eclipse Awards, and 4 Kentucky Derbys, Lukas has certainly ascended his way to the top in the world of horse racing. The colt he will train is by a sire who to this day remains the world’s richest racehorse, amassing earnings of over $17,000,000 in his impressive career.
