He’s already a big and strong colt and the team expect him to continue to fill out during his time out.

He continues to step up to every challenge asked of him and has adapted to life in the stable amongst the other horses really well.
He’ll spend another week or so in the stable before heading back out for a spell.

Trainer Lee Freedman has provided an update on your Written By x Sunday Rose colt that you can listen to above.
He has completed two weeks work back at the breaker and has now entered the stable. He’ll spend two weeks with Lee where he’ll step up his work slightly and further his education. The colt will then head back out for a break.
Hi Owners,
Your Written By x Sunday Rose colt departed Newington Farm yesterday following a 7 week spell. He put on a lot of condition during the break which we always love to see. He departed the farm weighing in at 526kg.
He is now back at the facility where he was broken in. He’ll spend a couple of weeks there furthering his education before entering Lee Freedman’s stable for a few weeks to aid his development.

Sunzou is a half brother to your Written By x Sunday Rose colt (same dam). Looks a nice type winning two jump outs under a hold this prep, before being thrown in the deep end and running well next to a raft of stakes performers.

He’s been out spelling for just over three weeks now and is filling out nicely after being broken in.

An update has been provided from the stable on your Written By x Sunday Rose colt.
He has returned to Newington Farm after being successfully broken in! It’s always great to tick off the first of many milestones, and the team were really happy with the ease in which he handled the process. He’s very natural in his approach and we’re looking forward to following his journey.
Your big red colt has returned in good condition, weighing in at 478kg on arrival. He feeling well and is enjoying being back out in the paddock with his mates. We will keep you updated throughout the early stages of his career.
It’s an exciting weekend for this boy, his sire, Written By won the 2018 Blue Diamond in impressive fashion – we’re looking forward to following his progress over the next few months.
