Infinite Empire breezed a very easy three-eighth’s this morning, stopping the clock in 38.00 seconds flat. This work was just a starting point for the 3-year-old as this was her first work in just over seven months. Infinite Empire will gradually pick up the pace each week but will likely have two more three-furlong works before moving onto the next stage.
Enjoy this video above.
Infinite Empire is scheduled to have her first breeze back tomorrow morning at 6:30 over the main track. We will follow up with a report after the work.

Infinite Empire is scheduled to have her first breeze back sometime next week. Speaking with trainer Richard Mandella this morning, he has been very pleased with her since returning to his barn and stated, “We are just knocking out the serious groundwork (gallops) at the moment.”
The 3-year-old filly has been galloping two miles daily and keeping good energy while on the track. Even as a two-year-old she was always a high-energy training horse, which isn’t uncommon for offspring of Empire Maker.
We will follow up once a workout schedule has been put in place.
Infinite Empire arrived back to Santa Anita in good order yesterday afternoon. At first look, the barn was extremely happy with the physical maturity the 3-year-old filly has made. She had her first day of galloping over the track this morning which can be seen above.
Infinite Empire continues to progress nicely as she increases the intensity of her training with farm manager Julie Stack. As previously reported, given the extent of her break at Peacefield Farm originally, Infinite Empire’s stint with Julie is a bit extended in order to build her foundation back up and have her prepared once returning to Santa Anita. She has started to lose her winter coat and tighten up physically. Infinite Empire is expected to return to Santa Anita with trainer Richard Mandella following another 1-2 weeks of training with Julie.
Enjoy this video of her going through her daily training routine with Julie.
Fun fact of the day: Infinite Empire is very ticklish.

Enjoy this video of Infinite Empire from this past Friday’s tour at Julie Stack’s farm. The 3-year-old filly by Empire Maker has settled in well to the program.
Infinite Empire will start her daily training routine by lunging in the round pen as you will see in the video above. Following that, Julie or one of her riders will then hop aboard and continue riding in the round pen before moving out to the arena. The round pen work replicates the re-breaking process which gets Infinite Empire familiar with getting a rider on her back and receiving commands.
Given the length of Infinite Empire’s break at Peacefield Farm, she is expected to receive closer to 45 days of training with Julie prior to returning to trainer Richard Mandella which gives approximately four more weeks with Julie.
