Tizamagician Workout Report

Tizamagician breezed three furlongs in 38 seconds flat this morning at Santa Anita.

“He was strong. He’s doing really good,” said exercise rider Nestor Capitaine following the work.

The 5-year-old son of Tiznow continues to move right along since returning to the Mandella barn and should be ready to breeze a half-mile next week.

Tizamagician Workout Report

Tizamagician worked three furlongs as scheduled on Thursday morning, covering the ground in 37.00 seconds. Breezing under exercise rider Nestor Capitane, Tizmagician was kept under cruise control as they left the three-eighth’s pole. As Tizamagician reached the quarter-pole, he picked up the pace naturally and traveled effortlessly down the lane while under zero encouragement. You will notice, Nestor’s hand’s never moved throughout the work.

The Mandella barn couldn’t be happier at this stage.

Tizamagician Workout Report

Tizamagician was back on the work tab this morning, breezing three-furlongs in 37.20 seconds over the Santa Anita main track. The 5-year-old son of Tiznow couldn’t have looked happier as he stretched his legs down the Santa Anita stretch.

Team Mandella is thrilled with his overall status and pending all continues well, Tizamagician should remain on a weekly work routine.

Tizamagician Bath Time

Tizamagican’s groom Rigo is glad to have our son of Tiznow back in the barn. Following his gallop on the training track yesterday morning, while Rigo was giving Tizamagician a bath, he noted, “He hasn’t changed a bit, he looks great, it’s so nice to have him back.”

Tizamagician Gallop Video

Tizamagician continues to do well as he increases the intensity in his gallops. He is currently galloping two miles daily and thoroughly enjoying being back on the track as you can see in the video above.

Tizamagician Back at Santa Anita

Tizamagician returned to Santa Anita in great order yesterday afternoon. The 5-year-old will get back into the swing of things fairly quickly given the foundation he has under him after completing time at both Bonnie Acres and Julie Stack’s.

Enjoy this video of him getting settled into his stall and making friends with his stablemate.
