Sixtythreecaliber Update
Trainer Tom Amoss is looking at a two-turn allowance race at Horseshoe Indianapolis on June 8th. Given that Sixtythreecaliber is a light filly, Tom likes the time in between races so the filly doesn’t lose too much weight. Entries will be taken on June 2nd.

Sixtythreecaliber Race Recap
There’s winning a race and then there’s WINNING A RACE. In an incredible display of competitiveness and determination, Sixtythreecaliber dug down deep to break her maiden tonight over eight rivals at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
Your gutsy 3-year-old filly and jockey Edgar Morales hit the lead after a half-mile was run in the two-turn, one-mile race, but by the time Sixtythreecaliber reached the quarter pole, the heat was turned up a couple of degrees. Two horses, one to her outside and one to her inside, were applying pressure. Most horses would have thrown in the towel at that point, particularly one who was only making her second career start. But Sixtythreecaliber wasn’t having any of that and bravely held sway between rivals and came away with a nose victory.
Sixtythreecaliber returned $10.20 and completed the distance in 1:40.47.
We’re so proud of our filly and we know her partners are feeling the same way about this extraordinary and hard-fought victory.
Congratulations to all of her owners and also to trainer Tom Amoss, who had Sixtythreecaliber primed for a big effort tonight and picked a terrific spot for her to graduate.
