Quick Conversation Update

Quick Conversation has started to put on weight since recovering at Margaux Farm. She is now being turned out in a paddock and in two weeks, she will start on the Aqua Treadmill, or Aquatred, at Margaux. The Aquatred will allow her to get some exercise in a safe, controlled environment as an alternative to training on a racetrack.

Quick Conversation Update

Quick Conversation has settled in nicely at Margaux Farm and is recovering from her colic surgery well. The surgery caused her to lose some weight, but once she is ready to be turned out in a paddock, the Kentucky grass will definitely do her wonders. We were happy to see our pretty filly bright-eyed and feeling good this morning.

Quick Conversation Update

We checked in with the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute this morning to see how Quick Conversation is recovering from her surgery and, thankfully, she has been doing very well. Hagyard has been able to lower her medications and increase her feed intake over the last few days. As of now, she should be able to be discharged on Monday or Tuesday, pending everything continues to go well.

She will be heading to Margaux Farm to take it easy in a peaceful environment.

Quick Conversation Update

We checked in on Quick Conversation this morning and we’re very happy to report that she is stable after yesterday’s surgery. She will remain at Hagyard Medical Institute for the next few days for recovery and observation.

We will continue to check back in on your filly and issue updates on her status.
