MyRacehorse has booked the prestigious Director’s Room for Monday, October 8th and we invite all owners and prospective owners to attend. It is a great chance to enjoy a fun day at the races in one of Santa Anita’s best accommodations. Not only are we expecting a great card for the special Monday day of racing, but MyRacehorse will have two runners too.

Takeo Squared, trained by Doug O’Neill, will be entered into the Zuma Beach Stakes and Sauce on Side, trained by Peter Miller will be entered into a Starter Allowance. It is fun to own a racehorse, but it is really fun to be surrounded by fellow owners, all cheering together. Not involved in either of these horses, no problem, this event is open to all MyRacehorse owners and prospective owners.

The Directors’ Room was once the private domain which was once only available to “those who were allowed in the room, owned a room”. Today’s guests will experience not only the history of this room, but the luxuries of today’s technology with HDTVs, private betting terminals, concierge service, a fully stocked private bar and a buffet specially prepared by Santa Anita’s culinary staff. Surrounded by imported antique wood an old world feel it’s an experience you don’t want to miss!

This is closing weekend for Del Mar. It has been a terrific meet and it’s time for one last hurrah!

Join us in the Sky Room, 6th Floor in the Sea Biscuit Suite on Sunday. Ticket includes your track admission, racing program, and lunch. The Sea Biscuit room is one of the best accommodations Del Mar has to offer with beautiful panoramic views of the track and the Pacific Ocean.

We have two horses running on Sunday. Takeo Squared (sold out) in the Del Mar Juvenile and Amers (shares still available) in an Allowance race at Golden Gate Fields. If you are an owner or interested in learning more about ownership with MyRacehorse this should prove to be a wonderful way to spend a day at the races.

Sunday 9/2 should be a fabulous day of high-quality stakes racing at Del Mar including the $100,000 Juvenile Turf Stakes featuring our very own Takeo Squared

Cheer on Takeo in style a top Del Mar in the Sky Room (Seabiscuit Suite). Enjoy beautiful views of the track and Pacific Ocean and excitement of cheering your horse on with a room of fellow owners.

Our doors will open at 1pm in the Sky Room where you can grab a table and enjoy some appetizers and drinks (non-alcoholic) as part of your admission. A light lunch will be served with salad and a carving station. There also will be a fully stocked cash bar for those who wish to enjoy a cocktail or two at the races. We have invited a few trainers and jockeys to come by and say hi as well.

It’s sure to be a beautiful day this weekend at Del Mar so mark your calendar! Zestful, a 3-year-old Ghostzapper colt from the Doug O’Neill barn will be racing in a $62,000 Allowance/Optional Claiming Race this Saturday, September 1st. MyRacehorse has reserved seating (limited tickets) so you can join in the fun and relax in the popular Paddock View Patio!

With umbrella tables, giant viewing screen and picturesque scenery, you will be sure to have a wonderful view of the beautiful saddling paddock. Located on level 2 of the Stretch Run with mutual windows conveniently accessible so you don’t miss any of the action. The Al la carte Corona Beach House menu is available to order from (attached) or you can visit other concessions and bring back to the Paddock Patio.

Ticket includes admission, racing program and entrance to the Paddock View Terrace. Ticket holders will automatically be entered in the Paddock Access Lottery where you will meet the jockey and see Zestful up close!

Dress code is fashionably casual; lets close out the weekend meet in style!
You might even find yourself in the winner’s circle, either way you can be assured of a good time!
