Big Cap Day at Santa Anita

Following a successful Opening Day celebration on December 26th, the next MyRacehorse event at Santa Anita Park is Big Cap Day, a huge day where Tizamagician had a strong showing last year! Several Grade 1 and 2 stakes races highlight the schedule on March 5th including the F. E. Kilroe Stakes, Beholder Stakes and San Felipe Stakes, which is an official prep race on the Road to the Kentucky Derby.

This year, we’re planning a very special event in The 100-to-1 Club! This beautiful space combines panoramic views of the entire racetrack with sophisticated lounge-style seating, live tellers and a private bar. Perched three floors above Santa Anita’s fabled first turn, The 100-to-1 Club puts you right on top of the action and provides a stunning view of races run below you at 40 miles per hour. We’re planning a full schedule of activities including fashion contests, autographed items for raffle prizes, meet & greets with a trainer, a sumptuous buffet lunch, afternoon snacks and cash bar. Valet parking is also included.

Tickets are available NOW for $170.00 per person (non-refundable) on a first-come, first-served basis. We expect a sell-out so don’t wait! Click here to purchase.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Santa Anita Opening Day

Santa Anita kicks off the Winter-Spring meet every December 26th. It’s a timeless tradition that has continued for over 80 years, and there’s no way MyRacehorse would miss it!

In fact, this year, we’re planning a very special holiday bash in the Directors’ Room! This beautiful space features plenty of HDTVs, private betting terminals, concierge service, a fully stocked private bar and a buffet especially prepared by the Santa Anita culinary team. Guests will spend time with the MyRacehorse team and perhaps even bump into a jockey, trainer, or TVG personality. And on the track the racing action couldn’t be more exciting. The day will feature three Grade 1 stakes races: the Malibu Stakes, La Brea Stakes and American Oaks.

Tickets to this exclusive MyRacehorse experience are available NOW for $95.00 per person (non-refundable) on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will include valet parking, a sumptuous buffet lunch and a cash bar. You should know that results from last week’s owner survey show that interest in Opening Day at Santa Anita is unprecedented. We’re expecting a sell-out so don’t wait! Click here to purchase.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Kentucky Oaks Experience

Pack your bags and get ready for the first ever MyRacehorse Kentucky Oaks Experience.

Festivities will begin in Lexington Kentucky on Wednesday May 1st with farm tours of some of the most prestigious horse farms in the world. Our Private Farm Tours will include Taylor Made, Spendthrift and Coolmore as we take a behind the scenes look at how these farms operate and meet the stars of the farm up close.

  • California Chrome
  • Justify
  • American Pharoah
  • Into Mischief
  • Beholder and more..

The day will include lunch at Taylor Made farm, home of Medallion Racing and our partner in Street Band. The Taylor’s will provide their perspective on what drew them to this horse and thoughts on what type of campaign may be ahead after the Oaks. Then we will head down to Louisville, about an hour and 15 minutes away as we plan on being at the track early to see Street Band gallop (time to be announced, but it could be early)

On Thursday we will meet Medallion Racing Manager, Philip Shelton at the rail to watch the gallop and then head back to the barn to see Street Band in Larry Jones barn. On Thursday, some may stay for the “Thurby”, basically Thursday racing on Oaks/Derby week while others may want to get their Oaks attire (ladies will want to get a hat and flowers at one of many local spots). Thursday evening we will all meet up for dinner in Louisville (TBD)

Friday is the Oaks. There should be well over 100,000 people in attendance. For those that have never been, it is quite the scene and should be a spectacular day of racing. For those that decide to stay over for the Derby, we can help facilities finding tickets. We have a great local broker that can find good spots for all different types of budgets.

** Travel accommodations are the the responsibility of each individual. If you reserve your spot you will be contacted by a MyRacehorse concierge to help coordinate accommodations.

See you in Kentucky
