Frosted Oats continued on with her weekly work schedule at Belmont Park and worked a half-mile in 48.78 seconds yesterday morning on the training track.
We will report back later this week with commentary from the Mott barn on how the filly is progressing as she trains for her comeback to the races.
We were pleased to see Frosted Oats back on the work tab yesterday at Belmont Park, covering an easy three-eighths in 38.68 seconds on the training track for trainer Bill Mott.
We will issue a workout report after we receive commentary from the barn on details of the work and how she exited the breeze.
Frosted Oats had her first work yesterday in Saratoga since joining Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott’s barn.
Riley Mott, Bill’s son and assistant, said the 2-year-old daughter of Frosted covered three furlongs in 39 seconds and executed the move “well within herself” and cooled out well.
