Going to Vegas Race Recap

In an fast paced edition of the Grade 1 Gamely, Going to Vegas did not have the late punch needed, finishing 5th in the end.

After breaking sharply, Going to Vegas was a touch rank before being rated off of Charmaine’s Mia and Keeper ofthe Stars, the early pace setters. Heading down the backstretch, the 4-year-old filly appeared to be traveling comfortably in third along the rail under Umberto Rispoli. When the field turned for home, Rispoli attempted to split horses but could not quicken between horses. Going to Vegas ran on evenly in the stretch, getting up for 5th in the final jumps.

After the race, jockey Umberto Rispoli said “After breaking so sharply, Going to Vegas put me in forward position naturally. When it came time to change gears she just didn’t have it today”.

Ari the Adventurer ’19 Photo Update

Ari the Adventurer ’19 is moving right along in his training at Margaux Farm and is gaining fitness by galloping 1 1/8 miles daily.

Also as part of his training routine, the 2-year-old ridgling has been gate schooling, a very important component of his education prior to coming to the racetrack. He has graduated from walking through an open stall gate to galloping out of a locked stall.

Enjoy these photos of Ari the Adventurer ’19 at Margaux.

Shack Arrives in Saratoga!

Psychedelic Shack arrived in good order into trainer Christophe Clement’s Saratoga barn this morning.

We’re excited about the 3-year-old colt taking his next steps with the Clement Team and will update shareholders once he has settled into a routine in his new home.

Here is a photo of Psychedelic Shack checking out his new view following his arrival in Saratoga.

Inclement is back in the stables!

Team Hawkes have advised that Inclement arrived into their Flemington stables this week after completing nearly a month of pre training.

She has arrived in top shape and took no time to settle into her stable routine.

This morning’s work was light – a trot and canter, which she completed seamlessly.

We’re excited to see where she progresses to this preparation and will continue to provide updates on her progress.
