Final Race Details

Good Evening Lazy Daisy Owners,

A few final things before tomorrow’s Breeders Cup Race:

1) The paddock lottery was conducted live on Facebook tonight at the Wood Ranch BBQ and Grill, if you were not notified of a “successful draw” you unfortunately did not win the lottery for the paddock, but good news is coming…
2) If Lazy Daisy wins, all owners (NO GUESTS) are welcomed in the winner’s circle. Just walk on in.
3) Many of the MyRacehorse team and owners will be watching the race near the finish line along the rail, if you are not sitting with us tomorrow look for all of us wearing Lazy Daisy hats and we’d love to watch the race with you.

Race Recap

Not an ideal trip for Noble Goddess today as she ended up finishing fourth in tonights 1st race at Woodbine. As the gate opened, jockey Leo Salles grabbed a hold of Noble but found himself caught 4-5 wide having to take back to last to get over before the first turn. Noble Goddess came with a big early move, eventually taking the lead as they hit the top of the stretch but had to much to do. Noble tired down the stretch to finish 4th. There were some positives, she seemed to take to the synthetic fine and made a nice move, unfortunately she just had too much to do. She was not claimed from today’s race. We will group up with trainer Justin Nixon and Epic Racing in a few days to see how she came out of the race.

Workout Notification

Bella Chica (outside-red cap) recorded her first official work back, working 3 furlongs in 38.40 seconds at Los Alamitos. Again, this was not intended to be fast by any means, Mike Puype wanted her to stretch her legs and see how she reacted to it. He thought it went perfect, “just what we wanted”. Mike got the time in 37.80 on his clock galloping out in 52.20 seconds. There was also a decent head win coming down the stretch. As long as she comes out of the work in good order, she will work another 3/8ths next Wednesday.
