Best Bets from MyRacehorse HQ

The team at MyRacehorse look around the tracks to provide you their best bet for the weekend.

An import by Frankel hav ing his 4th start in Australia, and comes up against a pretty weak field here. Dropped back in grade last start after contesting races against proper Group 1 horses and ran on really well for third. Now comes here 4th up and ready to peak. Gets Jmac on.

Look, this biiiiiiig unit has a bit of weight to carry. But that is ok! He has runs on the board, I love the sire, Super Seth. He is the next big thing in NZ breeding. He is a silly old price. When the Cave speaks, listen.

King has found some unreal value at Flemington – Inuitu is very early in his prep, but he is tracking very nicely. Receiving a lot of good mail about this horse. Might not get the chocolates this weekend, but follow him in his next start. You can’t pass up on these prices.

The proven Benedetta is primed to strike in this race for mine. Jamie Melham hops on board and will settle towards the back before ripping home. Finishing behind Schawrz in the William Reid and then working home beautifully in the All Aged has this 5YO mare ready and roaring. Go well!

This is a seriously talented import with elite form – it’s not often you see an Arc de Triomphe runner going around at Doomben! Has won his last two trials in the lead up to this (the most recent of which was on heavy ground, which is expected on race day), and if he’s anything like the horse he was in Europe, I cannot possibly see the rest of this field getting near him. Think it’s a put in, take out job punters!

Stayed the test over the 1400m first up at Flemington in the Listed ANZAC day stakes, beating home handy 2YO Stay Cosmic. Will only improve from his first up run and be hard to beat. Easily the best of the day.

Prices correct as of 12:30pm AEST Friday, May 16th
