Frankel x Of Good Cheer Filly
Progress Report
The Frankel x Of Good Cheer filly had a successful education period at Ciaron Maher’s Ballarat facility. She was a delight to train and certainly progressed both physically and mentally in the 4 weeks that she was in the stable. She is a big, strong filly who is bred to be a better 3 and 4 year old, so whilst it is very early now, she is ticking all the boxes to start her career. She has been in the paddock for 5 weeks following her breaking-in process and is enjoying a nice break

Pedigree Updates
Frankel has had a relatively quiet season in Australia, but has seen some Group success with Herman Hesse in the spring of 2024, taking out the Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes. He continues to thrive with progeny over in the UK, and has some exciting stayers in Format and Soulcombe, who are both quite lightly raced and talented over the longer trips
Trainer Form
Ciaron Maher notched up his 10th Group 1 of the 2024/25 season last weekend with Jimmystar taking out the All Aged Stakes. Ciaron’s consistent training success, coupled with his world class facilities and technology, bode incredibly well for any young horse entering the racing world. We simply could not be in better hands with Ciaron Maher

The Autumn Sun x Islands Filly
Progress Report
The Autumn Sun x Islands Filly has made some great progress since the sales. She completed some early breaking in at Scone before heading back out for a spell. She has been back in pre training now for 2 weeks and will likely head into Bjorn’s Warwick Farm stable for an educational preparation in 1-2 weeks
Pedigree Updates
- It’s been an exciting season for The Autumn Sun as a stallion, adding more stakes winners with Snow In May taking out the Listed Canberra Guineas and Matusalem also winning the Listed Albury Gold Cup. These two join the other 5 stakes winners by The Autumn Sun, including Autumn Glow, who was a recent winner of the Listed Darby Munro Stakes
- The Mare, Islands, has also seen some track success with 2yo Cavalry Girl. This daughter of Bivouac won impressively in a 2yo HCP back in January, and looks to be an exciting, stakes class horse in the future

Trainer Form
Bjorn Baker is striking at an incredible 21.8% strike rate from over 500 runners this season! His improvement from season 2023/24 has been astronomical and he is now reaping the rewards of Group 1 success with Arapaho (Sydney Cup) and Stefi Magentica (Doncaster Mile) this Autumn
Naming
PACIFICO has been submitted to Racing Australia, with 3 reserves just in case that name doesn’t get approved
Wootton Bassett x Tessneem Colt

Progress Report
The Wootton Bassett x Tessneem Colt has completed his first bout of breaking in at Thenford Farm. He showed a great ability to learn throughout that time. Initially, he took a while to switch on to the job mentally, but after 2 weeks of ring work, he really started to work it all out and put it all together. He is now spelling out at Toryburn Stud and has been there for just over 2 weeks
Pedigree Updates
- Wootton Bassett has produced a number of exciting 2yos this season, including Group 1 placed Wodeton and State Visit, as well as Group and Listed placed Wiltshire Square, West of Swindon and Gallo Nero. It was also very exciting to see Royal Patronage win the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes over 1300m last month
Trainer Form
Michael Freedman has had a very successful 2yo season so far, with Marhoona winning the Group 1 Golden Slipper under the tutelage of Freedman. He continues to have young horses competing in the best races and already has some experience with the Wootton Bassett breed, which is always a confidence booster going forward

Contributer x Sharp Proposition Colt
Progress Report
This colt is currently enjoying some time out in the paddock. The beauty of being trained by Shaun and Emma is that they do all of their own breaking in, so it will be good to receive regular updates from them as to how he is tracking. He is expected to start his education process very soon
Pedigree Updates
- In season 2024/25, Contributer has added 3 stakes winners to his tally. Most recently, Kiwi Skyhawk was able to win the Group 3 Manawatu Classic in New Zealand. Kiwi Skyhawk joined Lion’s Roar and He’s Lucid as the stakes winners for the Contributer progeny
Trainer Form
Shaun and Emma Clotworthy were able to secure their first Group 1 win with MyRacehorse’s own, Willydoit! This was an incredible training performance and he was absolutely dominant in New Zealand’s most prestigious race. He then travelled to Australia, still under the guidance of the Clotworthy’s, and was game in defeat in the ATC Derby

Too Darn Hot x Awake The Stars Colt

Progress Report
The Too Darn Hot x Awake The Stars colt is currently at the Randwick stable with Anthony Freedman, completing an educational preparation. This is following a very successful break- in at Thenford Farm, where the breakers were very impressed by the power of this colt. He will likely spend one more week at the stable before being tipped out to the paddock for a break. Of all the yearlings, he is the furthest along in his progress
Pedigree Updates
Too Darn Hots are absolutely flying this season, with 11 individual horses becoming stakes winners, including the addition to Broadsiding’s established Group 1 list with a win in the Rosehill Guineas. Rivellino has been a shining light for Too Darn Hot’s crop of 2yo’s with a win in the Group 2 Skyline Stakes before contesting a Golden Slipper
Trainer Form
Anthony & Sam Freedman are flying under the radar with their season stats thus far. They operate at just under a 20% winning strike rate in season 2024/25 from 485 runners. Whilst they have only managed the 1 Group 1 with Deny Knowledge in the Might and Power, they have produced some exciting horses that will be ones to watch in the coming months
